Using the below tool, find out if you are eligible for a Texas License to Carry and if you qualify for discounts and training exemptions. LTC Austin has made it extremely easy to find out if you can get an LTC without having to interpret Texas Government Code.Â
Depending on your job, such as active duty military or veteran, you may also not have to take the shooting qualification (proficiency demonstration). If you qualify, the online LTC class would be all that is needed to get an LTC. The online class would also be discounted. Go HERE for more information about the online class.
